WHY THE BLUEPRINT OF HOW?

Founded by Mfon Ekpo, The Blueprint of How Conference was born from a deep desire to help visionaries, leaders, and changemakers move beyond ideas into tangible execution.
Over a decade ago, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa conceded that rather than just policy and economic interventions, Africa had to come up with a more transformative educational framework that address women’s tangible and intangible constraints as too many women in Africa remain outside the reach of what should be their full self-empowerment potential. This is because women’s empowerment, especially in Africa, is more complex, non-linear, and unpredictable than generic development models assume.
It is against this backdrop that the ‘The Blueprint of How’ seminar was launched in 2016, helping women with clarity, direction, and a plan in translating their ideas to protable and sustainable impact- driven ventures, enabling them to full their potential and serve as major drivers of economic and social change in their communities and spheres of influence.
The initial exclusive editions of the seminar with the women were successful, but data collated revealed the need to host similar seminars for men, and by 2018, the first Blueprint of How exclusive men’s training seminar was held across five cities in Africa. Subsequent editions were opened to both men and women, with women making up a large percentage of the seminars.
For years, many highly skilled, passionate individuals have struggled with:
